Following his formal appointment as Artistic Director and his chairing of the opening ceremony of the 2026 academic year of the Puccini Academy in Torre del Lago, Plácido Domingo travels to Germany for a recital at the Blaibach Concert Hall on January 29.

Following his widely acclaimed, sold-out return to Oviedo, Plácido Domingo travels to Vienna on January 18 to star in a Glanzvolle Operngala at the Wiener Konzerthaus.

Plácido Domingo opens his 2026 season in Spain, with an extraordinary gala of opera and zarzuela at the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe in Oviedo on January 10.

Plácido Domingo has been appointed Artistic Director of the Accademia Pucciniana di Torre del Lago, the advanced training program promoted by the Fondazione Festival Pucciniano for young opera singers specializing in the Puccini repertoire and stage practice.

On December 30, Plácido Domingo travels to Switzerland to perform at the Gstaad New Year’s Music Festival, the prestigious winter celebration of classical music set in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

After enchanting German Audiences in a sold-out Gala in Bonn, Placido Domingo travels to China to perform in concert for the first time at the Guangzhou Opera House on December  2.
