On October 10, following the Verdi Gala in homage to Luciano Pavarotti at Victoria Hall in Geneva, Plácido Domingo was presented with The Opera Greats Award, established by the Renata Tebaldi Foundation.

On October 16, Plácido Domingo returns to Yerevan for a gala concert at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, honoring the 75th anniversary of the birth of renowned Armenian tenor Gegham Grigorian, za close friend with whom he collaborated throughout the years.

On October 10, following performances in Monaco and Budapest, Plácido Domingo returns to Switzerland to conduct the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese at Geneva’s Victoria Hall in a special tribute to Luciano Pavarotti.

On September 23, Plácido Domingo returns to Budapest to star in a sold-out Verdi Gala at the Hungarian State Opera, alongside soprano Orsolya Sáfár, mezzo soprano Viktória Mester, tenor Szabolcs Brickner and bass Krisztián Cser, with István Dénes leading the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra and Chorus.

On September 18, Plácido Domingo travels to Monaco to perform at the 20th Anniversary Gala of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, at the Salle Garnier of the Opéra de Monte Carlo.

On August 30, Plácido Domingo was awarded the Medal of Honour by Europa Nostra, the leading European heritage civil society organisation, in recognition of his exceptional service as President from 2010 to 2020 and his enduring commitment to Europe’s cultural heritage. The honour was presented on stage at the Gran Teatro all’Aperto Giacomo Puccini in Torre del Lago, Italy, at the conclusion of Domingo’s Gala concert at the Puccini Festival by Prof. Dr. Hermann Parzinger, Executive President of Europa Nostra, and Secretary General Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović.
