In return to Metropolitan Opera, Plácido Domingo stars in Ernani with James Levine

Plácido Domingo returns to the stage of the Metropolitan Opera to star in Verdi's Ernani, ​making his debut in the baritone role of Don Carlo from March 20 to April 11, 2015. 

This production reunites Domingo with James Levine in the conductor's first Met Ernani​ since 1983. The cast also includes Francesco Meli in the title role, and soprano Angela Meade in the role of Elvira.
